College essays don’t have to be hard…

I spend my writing life trying to find the authentic voices of young people as characters in my stories. Essay writing is a natural extension of that process. I help students find their own voice and suggest edits from that voice, resulting in essays that are written by high school seniors, not by adult co-writers.

I have helped students write essays that resulted in admissions to The University of Chicago, Cornell University, The University of Michigan, The University of Pennsylvania, Duke University, Wash U, USC, Brandeis, The University of Wisconsin-Madison, and many more.
